I am finally ready to change my setup to use a home sync solution rather than mapped drives. So you can see I am old school when it comes to file management with my NAS. My back is a nightly snapshot script to external sub drives. I have been accessing file in the NAS though mapped drives. My computing platforms include iPhones, a windows 10 PC and a late 2011 MacBook Pro. I have been a synology NAS user for about 5 years.
